HP & Windows 10

If you are in the market for a new laptop it is an excellent time of the year to be here. With Windows 10 right around the corner and Intel's new cpu line up launched there is new hardware and software making it a good time.

One manufacture in particular has stepped up to the plate. HP has announced on their blog that they will be shipping laptops with the new windows 10 pre loaded from July 29th to coincide with the launch of windows. With this information, we know that windows 10 is done and its release date seems to be on track.

Microsoft has given oems early access to the final build in order to get machines loaded with this os, meaning that rival companies will be offering the same windows 10 experience out of the box at a later date. Though the company has access to windows 10 not all laptops will receive this update out of the box, as well hp is limiting the pre orders to 4 different laptops, the HP15, ENVY x360, Spectre x360 FHD and Spectre x360 QHD. All laptops come with next day shipping though, keep in mind where you live will depend on the day that it arrives

If you are currently looking for a hp laptop, with windows 10, you are limited to purchasing from hp.com. However, hp says that they will have laptops in stores by August 2nd running windows 10. Alternatively you could go down to the store now and pick up a new computer running windows 8.1 and get the free update when that hits later this month
